Meat Pie Music Publishing is proud to announce that Brenda-Lee Heathcote-Shelly’s
track “Talking To Ghosts” (originally recorded in Australia by well known artist “Vanya”)
has been re-recorded by Texas USA artist Helen Mateki, and is currently sitting at 2nd spot, behind Brad Paisley’s “Then” on the list of 3117 songs promoted by ECMA, internationally.
Brenda-Lee also had a great run with a cover by husband and wife duo “The Mateki’s”, and their release of “Come Cryin’ To Me” from the inspirational album “Light of Hope”, released in 2008. “Come Cryin’ To Me” still sits on the list a year and a half later at #384. |
MPM would like to congratulate signed writer BRENT LILLIE, on his achievements in the 2009 ASA’s (Australian Songwriters Association) Awards.
Brent received 1st place in the “Ballad” section with “Treasure Box”, 4th and 7th in the “Australia” section, with the songs “Singing Up A Storm” and “The Name of the Game is Rugby League” respectively. CONGRATULATIONS BRENT!
