BRAD LEE

'To Cross The Rubicon' - (to pass the point of no return - After doing this thing, there is no way of turning around, the only way left, is forward)

Brad Lee nails the sentiment of 'Cross The Rubicon' with his strong depth of vocals in a contemporary yet traditional style of ---ballad? you decide!

The old saying 'Cross The Rubicon' comes from the days of Julius Caesar and his army, who gathered in the darkness of nightfall, and upon the sound of a trumpet sounded by Julius himself, marched across the Rubicon River in defiance of the ruling government, therefore committing treason.  Once they crossed the Rubicon, there was no turning back.  'The die had been cast', words also spoken by Julius as they crossed.

Produced once again by the many and varied talents of Mr Scott Lloyd Shelly.  Scott has captured the essence of the lyrics with his masterful use of his expertise as a musician, producer and programmer.

Written by Brenda-Lee Heathcote 'Cross The Rubicon' is the second song to come from the forthcoming album 'Light of Hope' and portrays a positive message, in an unusual way, of which Brad delivers with brilliance.
